The Knoxville Bar Association and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee, in partnership with Legal Aid of East Tennessee (LAET) will host a Debt Relief Legal Advice Clinic for pre-screened individuals on Saturday, June 25th, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Public Defender’s Community Law Office (1101 Liberty Street, Knoxville TN 37919).

Attendees will hear a presentation from U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge Suzanne Bauknight and be matched with area attorneys for evaluation and advice. This clinic is a great opportunity for debtors interested in exploring bankruptcy and other strategies to deal with their debt issues.

This clinic is open to eligible residents of Knox, Loudon, Blount, and Sevier Counties. To register, please call LAET by Friday June 17th at (865) 637-0484.
